THE EARTHQUAKE, introduction, middle and end.
El terremoto, (introducción, nudo y desenlace)
The novel tell us a story about a man, called Gabriel, who loved Silvia. She didn’t loved him, she loved Marco.
One day, Gabriel went to the Silvia’s flat. He went with a red rose to her, and he had bought tickets to go to the cinema, so he decided to invite her to go there. He took the door and called Silvia. She oped the door and then they talked about the way out that they had proposed, but she said that she hadn’t remembered, and that she coudn’t way out at the moment. So, Gabriel went out without her, but went he was going out, he saw that she was going out with Marco. He saw that she really didn’t loved him.
Then, he went to cinema alone, he was standing in line without the cinema when the earquake happened. While he was there, Silvia and Marco went to the Oasis Restaurant. This restaurant was the best site to have a romantic dinner. There, Marco wanted a table next to the centre because he wanted to dance after dinner. All tables were reserved, but Marco still wanted under a table for two there. So, he argued with the waiter. In that moment, Silvia went out of the restaurant and went to the garden, then the earthquake happened.
All buildings were broken, and the restaurant, too. Marco was in the restaurant, but it was too late. There were fire in all sites, people was screaming and crying, and was very afraid. So, Silvia decided to go to the flat, becouse her mother was there, and she was ill. She thought in Gabriel for a moment, becouse she knew that he was in the cinema, but anyway, she thought in her mother.
She went to the flat, but she didn’t find her mother, so she talked with her neighbour, ‘Mr, García’, and he said her that her mother was in the park, without the city, and she could go there because the other neighbours led her.
Gabriel was standing in line without the cinema, to go in, when the earthquake happened and the cinema and all buildings were broken. In that moment, a stone hit Gabriel, and it broke his arm. People saw him and called a nurse to take care him. The nurse and some people carry him to the garden of the hospital. She told him that he should stay there, because he was safe, but he wanted to go to the Silvia’s flat, because the Silvia’s mother was there,and he knew that she was need help. So, when the nurse didn’t see him, he went to the Delgado’s flat.
Later, Silvia talked with a man, and he told her that Marco wasn’t dead, but in that moment she understood that she really didn’t love him, she only was falling in love of Gabriel. And she thought that she was a stupid girl.
After a while, she walked to the park, but when she came, she didn’t find her. For about an hour after, she found her mother. At the same moment, Gabriel was in the flat, and saw the rose in the floor, and he slept there.
A few time later, the earthquake stopped, and all people came back to them houses. The Delgado’s came back to them home, and found Gabriel in the flat. He gave the rose to Silvia, and she told him that it was beautiful.
