A real professional, an expert and admirer of a torturer’s trade. They say he can wring the truth out of a
tree stump. If you call him a sadist – he will deny, believing that every client has the right to expect not
only a regulation uniform, but also the whole background ranging from an infernal snigger to a written
warning “Caution! Hot!” on the searing irons. It’s because of his high ethical standards, the Torturer can’t allow
Geralt out of the dungeon. This obvious clash of interests will surely find its bloody final.
In his long career, the Torturer had to deal with both common criminals and famous personages. Because his
clients are in a horizontal position, they talk a lot about themselves and he usually doesn’t listen to them, he
likes comparing his work to the one done by a psychoanalyst.
In his free time, the Torturer attends evening classes to further his professional skills and writes articles for a
trade magazine The Dungeon Voice. His favourite band is Iron Maiden.

Because of a series of unfortunate events and false accusations, Geralt landed in a dungeon. It is not the first criminal episode in the witcher’s career, but what else can we expect of an itinerant monster slayer dealing with elven terrorists?
As befits a brawler, Geralt gave up the appeal and decided to take the initiative. On his way to freedom, the witcher finds the Torturer, and the only witness of this chamber drama between the two is the Prisoner.
In the present situation the witcher has a wide selection of tools ranging from his sword to crushing – in his own opinion – silence, which gave him so much fame. Creative use of improvisation is surely desired.
At present, Geralt of Rivia is occupied with rehearsals of the main part in the upcoming blockbuster The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings.

Prisoner
Despite his short penitentiary experience, the Prisoner has already owned up to many offences ranging from
high treason to promiscuity. So far, his willing testimony did not make any difference in his situation, and even
caused disapprobation of the Torturer who is accustomed to working with difficult cases.
The Prisoner is a conciliatory man, as the Torturer says: as good as gold. The violence is alien to him, or actually
was until he found himself in the dungeon grabbed by the turmoil caused by non other than the witcher.
Paradoxically, Geralt is his only hope now.
As the need arises, thanks to his acting technique, the Prisoner can impersonate a devious ingrate or an
aggressive sociopath. However, his specialization is a fellow in deep water.
In private, the Prisoner keeps pigeons and makes up limericks. His favourite colour is blue.
