Es la cuarta vez que Iron Maiden tocan en el circuito de Donington, Inglaterra, (1988, 1992, 2003) y la primera que la promotora Live Nation retransmite en directo un concierto desde el circuito de carreras.
El manager de Maiden, Rod Smallwood, ha declarado que: “ya que solo estamos dando unos pocos shows este verano, es una buena ocasión para que fans de países donde no vamos a estar nos vean tocar canciones de ‘The Number Of The Beast’ y de ‘A Matter Of Life And Death’, junto a algunas otras”.
