AC/DC es un grupo de hard rock australiano formado en Sydney (Australia) en 1973 por los hermanos escoceses Malcolm y Angus Young.

Desde el principio se hicieron famosas sus actuaciones en directo, gracias en parte al extravagante estilo de su guitarrista principal, Angus Young, siempre vestido con uniforme de colegial en los conciertos. En 1976 se trasladaron a Gran Bretaña, de donde procedían los hermanos Young, e inmediatamente ocuparon los primeros puestos de ventas con discos como Let There Be Rock (1977) y Powerage (1978), a los que siguieron If You Want Blood You've Got It (1978) y el disco Highway to Hell (1979), del que se vendieron millones de copias[cita requerida]. En febrero de 1980, el vocalista Bon Scott falleció por consumo excesivo de alcohol y fue sustituido por Brian Johnson, quien pertenecía al grupo Geordie.

Aunque llegaron a Gran Bretaña en pleno auge del punk rock, en poco tiempo obtuvieron una enorme aceptación del público. Back in Black ha vendido aproximadamente 42 millones de unidades en el mundo y 22 millones solo Estados Unidos, De manera que es el 5º álbum de mayor venta de todos los tiempos en los EE.UU y entre los álbumes más vendidos de toda la historia detrás de Thriller en el mundo. Guns N' Roses es una banda de hard rock que nació en Los Ángeles, en marzo de 1985. El grupo estaba formado por el cantante Axl Rose, los guitarristas Slash e Izzy Stradlin, el bajista Duff McKagan, y el baterista Steven Adler. El nombre deriva de la combinación de dos bandas muy importantes en Hollywood, los L.A. Guns y los Hollywood Rose. Su primer concierto tuvo fecha el 26 de marzo de 1985 en el Troubador (Hollywood, California). Hasta el momento han vendido 100 millones de copias.

Hollywood Rose fue la banda creada por Jeffrey Isbell (Izzy Stradlin) y William Bruce Rose Jr (Axl Rose) después de dejar Lafayette, Indiana y establecerse en Los Ángeles. Posteriormente se transformaría en una de las bandas más importantes de hard rock de finales de los ochenta e inicios de los noventa: Guns N' Roses.

Tras su formación en 1985 debutaron como banda en el Troubadour Club, realizando su primera gira llamada The Hell Tour por clubes de Seattle, Portland, Eugene, Sacramento y San Francisco. Dicha gira no llegaron a finalizarla debido a una avería en la furgoneta en la que viajaban que les obligó a regresar a Los Ángeles. Siguieron haciendo actuaciones esporádicas en locales de Hollywood consiguiendo una cierta reputación. Todos vivían y ensayaban en la misma habitación.

Los sellos discográficos se empezaron a interesar por ellos. Su primer mánager oficial fue Vicky Halmilton, la cual les alojó en su apartamento, que destruyeron en poco tiempo. Les consiguió actuaciones y dinero para un equipo decente. Hubo problemas ya que Vicky les exigía mucho más dinero de lo que habían acordado cuando ella invirtió en el grupo, así que prescindieron de ella. Un año más tarde puso un pleito a la banda reclamando un millón de dólares.

Nirvana fue una banda estadounidense de grunge, procedente de Aberdeen, Washington. Con el éxito del sencillo "Smells Like Teen Spirit", del álbum Nevermind, Nirvana escaló las listas musicales en todo el mundo e inició la explosión de lo que hasta ese momento era punk underground y rock alternativo en la escena musical mundial, en un movimiento al que los medios de la época se referirían como "grunge". file SUCK or are incomplete makes me XXXXing
mad!!! So I posted the 2nd best version only to
what Cobain, Novoselic, and Grohl wrote. I have
took the song apart into intro, verse1, verse2,
pre-chorus, verse3, chorus, solo, pre-chorus,
chorus and, outro. I have it tabbed for 2 guitars,
1 bass guitar, and 1 lead singer (Unplugged in
NY version) but for you idiots not in bands, at
the end of each section I'll tab it all out for
