Seinfeld fue una serie televisiva de comedia emitida entre 1989 y 1998 y considerada entre las más populares e influyentes de los años noventa en ese país, por lo cual es con frecuencia tomada como ejemplo paradigmático de la cultura irónica y obsesiva de esa década. El programa fue creado por Larry David y Jerry Seinfeld.
La serie trata sobre la vida cotidiana de una versión ficticia del propio Jerry Seinfeld y sus tres amigos, Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards), George Costanza (Jason Alexander) y Elaine Benes (Julia Louis-Dreyfus), quienes interactúan en el apartamento de Jerry y sus alrededores en Manhattan, Nueva York. Fue producida por Castle Rock Entertainment y distribuida por Columbia Pictures Television (hoy llamada Sony Pictures Television).
