I would like to share with you all, a short tutorial on English grammar.
Just as we have syntax while using the computer languages, we have a set of rules for properly communicating in English language. This set of rules is called English grammar. The main parts of grammar are given below:-
1- Nouns- These are the names of the person,place animal or thing. Examples are Ram,Mohan,Divya,Robert etc.
2- Adjectives- Defining words are called adjectives. Examples are large,big,small,growing,which,this,that etc.
3- Adverbs- These are the words that tell when, why, or under what conditions things happens or happened.Examples are when,how,where etc.
4- Verbs- A word that shows action is called as a verb. Examples are play,read,walk,sleep etc.
5- Prepositions- Words that describe the relationships between the other words. Examples are at,in,on etc.
