Por fin, llega una aplicación que permite a los usuarios de Facebook exportar sus fotos y las imágenes de Facebook e importarlos directamente en el nuevo Google Plus. Google Plus aún está en fase de pruebas pero está disponible por invitación. La configuración de seguridad parece estar bien configurada, desde el principio, a diferencia de sus rivales de Facebook. La interfaz es mucho más limpia y más fácil de usar también. Hasta ahora, el mayor inconveniente para el uso de Google Plus ha sido la ardua tarea de subir todas las fotos almacenadas en tu cuenta de Facebook a la brillante Google Plus, pero ahora los chicos inteligentes (y chicas también, me imagino) de la compañía AMIWORKS, han desarrollado la herramienta perfecta para efectuar esta tarea automáticamente. Dependiendo de la cantidad de fotos que tenga, este proceso podría tardar un rato, dado que estamos hablando de copiar datos desde un servidor a otro (sin tener que descargarlos a tu ordenador primero, sin embargo), pero todo merece la pena. Solo necesitas usar el navegador Google Chrome. No te preocupes si no sabes nada acerca de este navegador. Es perfectamente seguro y en realidad corre más rápido que Internet Explorer de Microsoft. Puedes incluso optar por no utilizarlo como navegador predeterminado y eso es útil si sólo vamos a utilizarlo para el propósito expreso de la importación de fotos desde Facebook a Google Plus. Haz una búsqueda con las palabras "Descargar Chrome" y deberías ver el enlace de descarga. Una vez que haya abierto el navegador Chrome, haz una búsqueda con las palabras "GOOGLE CHROME APLICACIONES" e instalar el plugin de AMIWORKS. Tan pronto como el plugin se haya instalado (en cuestión de segundos), haga clic en el icono del ‘autobus’ de color naranja en la parte superior derecha de la barra de herramientas. Te pedirá que introduzca tus datos de acceso de para Facebook y así permitir que la página acceda a tus fotos, y luego en la siguiente página elegir las fotos que desea copiar a tu cuenta de Google Plus. Por defecto, todas las fotos están seleccionadas y luego, cuando esté satisfecho con la selección, haz clic en el botón "Importar" en la parte inferior y esperar mientras el contador te indica el progreso. The interface is so much cleaner and easier to use as well. Up until now, the biggest drawback for using Google Plus has been the arduous task of uploading all the photos stored on your Facebook account to the shiny new Google one but now the clever guys (and girls too, I imagine) over at AMIWORKS have come up with the perfect tool to do it automatically. Depending on how many photos you have, this process could take a while as we are talking about copying data from one server to another (without having to download it to your computer first though) but it’s well worth the effort. All you need is to use the Google Chrome web browser. Don’t start fretting if you know nothing about this browser. It’s perfectly safe and actually runs faster than Microsoft’s Internet Explorer. You can even choose not to use it as your default browser; handy for if you’re just going to use it for the express purpose of importing your photos from Facebook to Google Plus. Just do a search for "DOWNLOAD CHROME" and you should see the link. Once you have the Chrome browser open, search for "GOOGLE CHROME APPS" and install the free plugin. As soon as the plugin has installed (in a matter of seconds), click the orange ‘bus’ icon on the top right of the toolbar. You’ll be asked to enter your login details to allow the page to access your Facebook account photos, then on the next page you choose the photos you want to copy across to Google Picassa. By default all are selected and then when you’re happy with the selection, click the “IMPORT” button at the bottom and away they go, with a useful counter showing you the progress. Obviously, all your captions and comments won’t be there, but if you’re looking for a hassle-free transfer, then this is for you.
